Kathleen and Logan were a dream couple to work with, from their classic vintage style to their amazing love story we loved every second of their session. We met at an ice cream shop in downtown Plymouth and started with some delicious cones. Our luck started off great by walking right into a fabulous classic truck that matched their outfits amazingly and was a great place to get into the flow of the session. Kathleen and Logan showed us around to some of the best spots in town including the Penn Theatre and the awesome movie murals on it's side walls, we found an amazing alley leading up to a parking garage with dreamy light, and finished the night off in an alley with a gorgeous ivy covered wall as the sun dipped below the horizon.
While walking between locations we learned how they met on Twitter when Logan found this girl he couldn't help but meet, and then he successfully executed a scheme to start talking to her without coming off as creepy. If you ask me I think he nailed it. They have now been together for three years, and are in the beginning stages of planning a destination wedding, which is perfect considering they got engaged on a cruise ship during Hurricane Irma and so their lives together as fiancees began on this awesome adventure and they will begin their lives as a married couple with another adventure.
They are such a joy to be around, and you could really see their love for each other as they interacted during their session. Kathleen said of Logan, "I remember first meeting him, I couldn't get that Beatles song "If I Fell" out of my head. I stumbled across a letter the other day that he wrote me two months into our relationship, in which he said that he just knew he was going to marry me. I got choked up but laughed too, because he really is right more often than I give him credit for."
As she gets ready to head off to basic training for the Navy, I know their relationship will stay strong, and I can't wait to see where the rest of their story leads them together. Bryan and I wish the two of them the best of luck, and hope to see them again on their wedding day!
